Privacy Policy

What personal information InterestDue collects, how we use and share it, and the rights and choices you have.

Effective date: July 15, 2026InterestDue

This policy explains what personal information InterestDue (operated by Harper AI, Inc.) collects, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet California’s privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA and CalOPPA); if you are a California resident you have specific rights described below.

Information we collect

  • Account information: your email address and company name when you sign in or request a magic link.
  • Payment information: handled by Stripe. We receive transaction records (what you bought, when, the amount) but never your card number.
  • Receivable data you enter: invoices, amounts, contract and payment dates, and the names of the parties who owe you. This data exists to compute your figures and generate your letters; it is held privately for your use, and we never publish it, sell it, or use it to build profiles of the parties you name.
  • Information you submit in forms before signing up: if you use a calculator or request a drafted letter, the details you provide (invoice amount, the name of the party who owes you, days overdue, your name and title).
  • Analytics & cookies: usage data collected with PostHog (pages viewed, device and browser info, and interaction events). We use first-party cookies for sign-in sessions and analytics. We do not run third-party advertising trackers.

Session replay – never inside the app

Signed-in application screens show your receivable data and the names of parties who owe you. We never record those screens. On our public marketing pages only, and only if you accept the consent banner, we use PostHog session replay to fix usability problems – it reconstructs page interactions, and everything you type is masked before it leaves your browser; form inputs are never recorded.

How we use it

  • To provide the service: sign-in, computing your figures, generating your letters, support.
  • To operate and improve the product (analytics, debugging, abuse prevention).
  • To send transactional email (sign-in links, receipts, service notices) and, where you opted in, product email you can unsubscribe from.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not sell or publish the information you enter about the parties who owe you.

Who we share it with

Service providers acting for us, under contract:

  • Stripe – payment processing.
  • Resend – email delivery.
  • PostHog – product analytics, including consent-gated masked session replay on marketing pages.
  • Google Cloud – hosting and infrastructure.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or as part of a corporate transaction (with this policy continuing to apply).

Your California privacy rights

You have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we collect and how we use it.
  • Delete the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Because we do not sell or share personal information, there is no sale or sharing to opt out of. To exercise any right, email privacy@interestdue.com. We will verify the request against the email or records involved and respond within the statutory window.

Retention

  • Account information: kept while your account is active; deleted with your account.
  • Receivable data you enter: kept for the life of your account plus 90 days, then purged.
  • Generated letters: kept for 2 years, then purged.
  • Pre-signup form submissions: kept for 1 year, or deleted earlier on request.
  • Payment records: held by Stripe under Stripe’s retention; we keep transaction records as required for tax and accounting.

“Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control

Because there is no common standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, we do not respond to DNT. We do not sell or share personal information, so the Global Privacy Control’s opt-out-of-sale meaning does not apply here – but if your browser sends GPC, we treat it as a decline of analytics and session replay automatically, with nothing else required from you.
